Innumerable leisure opportunities and eventful excursions - you will remember them for a lifetime

Our-family-run hotel is in Stuls, "the sunny terrace” of Val Passiria, surrounded by the Alps of Ötztal, Stubai and Sarntal. There are many excursion and walking routes just waiting to offer you fantastic days out. The malghe (alpine shepherds' huts) and refuges give you the possibility to make relaxing stops. And if the winter weather is not so good, then you can take a trip to Merano, which is a half hour away by car. There you can go shopping or visit Trauttmansdorff botanical gardens, or you can go to Bolzano to visit the Ötzi Museum. In case of bad weather, it is worth to do a trip to the spa town of Meran which you can reach by car in half an hour. There you can enjoy a prolonged shopping trip or you can visit the botanic gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle. What about an excursion to the museum of the man of the ice in Bozen?

Adventure excursions

The weekly guided hiking tours with our head Georg are definitely something special. He will bring you to rustic mountain pastures and fascinating places. His exciting stories offer the best entertainment and a lot of fun. According to our guests, these are the most popular tours:
- Faltmaralm (via the toboggan run, direction of the Grünboden hut)
- Fartleis (via Pfandleralm, direction of the Hirzer area)
- Schneeberg
- Jägersteig (Walten, to Seebergalm - lake Seeberg -  Wanseralm and Wanserhof)

Paragliding

Experience South Tyrol’s beautiful mountain landscape once from above. You glide silently above the Ötztal Alps, the Stubai Alps and the Sarntal Alps. We would be glad to plan your next flight.

Bike

Mountain bike sport fans will have a good time too in the Passeier valley. It does not matter if you are looking for relaxing bike courses or if you prefer demanding bike tours through mountain landscapes or on pass roads: our head Georg, himself a passionate biker, will have some proposals for you.

Climbing

Climbers find a paradise of varied climbing and boulder routes here in Stuls. More than 60 climbing routes with different levels of difficulty (from 4 to 8a UIAA) in the best gneiss are waiting for you to be climbed. Due to the climbing garden’s southern and sunny position, it is possible to start climbing already in spring, sometimes even in winter.
